The Money Market is Cornwall’s first dedicated event bringing business finance, investment, and advisory expertise together under one roof. This half-day, high-energy marketplace is designed to make business finance accessible and actionable for every stage of the business journey, from seed to scale to sale.
Bringing together start-ups, growth-focused SMEs, established companies, and those preparing for succession or exit, the event connects business owners with funders, advisors, professional services, and support organisations.

The afternoon features:
· An exhibitor marketplace, organised into themed financial and advisory “Zones”
· Breakout spaces for short talks, Q&A sessions, and specialist demos
· Co-working and quiet areas for founders to reflect or follow up conversations
· A relaxed “Night at the Museum” networking reception with refreshments
With over 45,000 businesses across Cornwall and an increasing need for clarity around financial support, especially as SPF funding phases out, The Money Market offers timely, practical guidance and strong visibility for partners

3:00 – 3:30pm: Arrival and welcome

Panel talks or short presentations running alongside in breakout areas.
5:30 – 7:00pm: ‘Night at the Museum’ – a relaxed networking opportunity including canapes and refreshments.

‘Comfort in Cashflow’ – This session will cover the steps to understanding wealth, planning exits and being able to cashflow forecast for your later years.
4:15 – 5:00pm: Oxford Innovation Advice
‘More than the Money’ – The session will focus on how to build a comprehensive and compelling application to secure the right types of finance for your business.
Joined by a panel of local businesses that have successfully secured finance, the session will demonstrate what is required to unlock the correct finance for your business and how specialist advisory support can help.
