We are delighted to welcome to Cornwall Kate Shoesmith, Director of Policy and Insights for the British Chambers of Commerce.
The BCC have meetings almost every week with ministers and government departments. The Director General used to be head of business engagement for the Cabinet Office and this really helps open doors to create the right conversations throughout Government.
Kate has asked to meet and hear from businesses to help inform her work. For Cornwall Chamber members who want to see better government policy then this event will be one of the best opportunities to engage with one of the more influential channels into Government.
The exclusive afternoon cream tea meeting will allow members to hear from Kate and to provide feedback in a slightly informal but delightful environment on the Tregothnan Estate. Our thanks to Tregothnan and Roddas for sponsoring the afternoon cream tea.
Please Note: The Tregothnan Estate is big! This event will happen on the west side of the river at Coombe. Do not go to main house side. Only go to TR3 6AR past Kea School between Truro and Playing Place.
