Why It’s Important

It’s vital that we create a strong circular economy in Cornwall, where people support businesses and businesses feed back into the community. Where We Began

Crowdfunder began above a surf shop in Newquay, with the aim of supporting grassroots projects and helping create change. Today, we’re the UK’s leading crowdfunding platform, having raised over £350 million for projects tackling everything from climate change to community spaces. Along the way, organisations like Aviva, British Airways and Cornwall Council – to name just a few – have joined us as partners to deliver their giving programmes through our platform.
