Holiday-goers from Cornwall to London can now reach the UK capital for free thanks to a new ‘500 Free Fares’ initiative from London Southend Airport.
To celebrate the launch of Eastern Airways’ new route between Newquay and London Southend Airport, the next 500* passengers to make a booking from Cornwall in April 2025 will receive complimentary train travel into central London, using code: SENTRAIN1.
The offer covers single train fares up to £20.90 on the Greater Anglia line from London Southend Airport Station to London Liverpool Street. With a dedicated on-site train station, passengers can reach London Liverpool Street in just 52 minutes, or Stratford in 43 minutes, with easy access to the Underground and Elizabeth Line.
Whether it’s a weekend shopping spree on Oxford Street, a theatre trip to the West End, or a sightseeing tour of iconic landmarks such as the Tower of London and Buckingham Palace, this new incentive makes visiting London easier and more affordable than ever for Cornwall-based travellers.
An Eastern Airways spokesperson said: “We are delighted to introduce this route, making travel between Cornwall and London more convenient. The ‘500 Free Fares’ initiative adds even more value, giving passengers a seamless and cost-effective way to reach the capital.”
The new Eastern Airways service offers a comfortable and time-saving alternative to long road or rail journeys, with multiple weekly flights connecting Cornwall and London.
