The annual “Recognition of Excellence in Policing” awards continue to grow in their third year. Acting as a counterbalance to the current negativity about policing, these awards celebrate the extraordinary achievements of officers and staff that otherwise go unrecognised – or unreported for confidentiality reasons. 19 award categories are available for sponsorship by local and regional businesses.
