Cornwall Council would like to invite you to attend the Keep Cornwall Working: Inclusive Employment Workshop, taking place on 29 September.
This free half-day event will bring together local employers, Cornwall Council, Seetec and national partners to explore practical ways to reduce staff turnover, sickness absence and recruitment pressures. It will also provide an opportunity for businesses to contribute to national discussions on work, health and economic participation.
The event forms part of the wider Keep Britain Working agenda and is designed to ensure that the experiences and priorities of Cornwall employers help inform future approaches to work, health and employment.
During the event you’ll have the opportunity to:
· Hear the latest national and local developments relating to employment, health and economic participation.
· Learn about support available through programmes including Connect to Work, WorkWell and the Youth Guarantee.
· Take part in an interactive workshop exploring practical ways to support staff wellbeing, reduce sickness absence and improve return-to-work outcomes.
· Hear directly from employers sharing their experiences of supporting people into and within work.
